Jaguar powers extraordinary tales with Sky Documentaries
Jaguar Launches Series of 15-second Movies That “Book” Sky Documentaries Programs
jaguar Britain has worked with sky media for the launch of Sky Documentaries, a new home for feature-length documentaries and series that aired on May 27 for the first time.
Sky Documentaries shares Jaguar's passion for creativity and storytelling, trying to challenge, provoke and entertain viewers on a wide range of topics, from real-world sports and controversy to biographies of some of the most famous and infamous people in the world.
In keeping with the documentary genre, the legendary British brand offers viewers an insight into their invisible world through a series of 15-second films that “book” Sky Documentaries programs. Each film reveals invisible elements of Jaguar's cutting-edge design and development process, including the art of clay modeling, innovative machine modeling, aerodynamics development, sound engineering, and vehicle testing in some of the most hostile environments in the world.
Julian Thomson, Design Director of Jaguar, commented: “We are happy to celebrate extraordinary stories with Sky Documentaries and to share a part of our normally secret world. Stories are at the heart of Jaguar – our racing history, our passionate people and our progressive design philosophy are reflected in the design of our cars. "
“The partnership with Sky Documentaries is the perfect opportunity for us to get in touch with a new audience in an exciting way. Jaguar's mission is to take the ordinary and make it extraordinary. Even the most frequent commutes are a rewarding Jaguar experience – be it the thrill of the ride, the passion for technology, or the admiration for craftsmanship. By presenting our exceptional stories and remarkable people, we hope to attract like-minded people across the UK, ”said Anthony Bradbury, Marketing Director of Jaguar Land Rover UK.
“We are very excited to be working with Jaguar when we add this new and exciting brand to the strong Sky Channel family. By partnering with Sky Documentaries, Jaguar can connect with an upscale audience that wants to learn and engage in compelling, world-class content, ”added Sky Media sales director Duncan Wynn.
