Four new members have also been appointed to the LEP Board following the announcement that Ruth Dooley will become the new Chair of the Gloucestershire Local Corporate Partnership.

Gloucester Rugby signs Gill Crowther

Ripjar appoints Gabriel Hopkins

Secret Sales hires retail supergroup

Cheltenham-based Secret Sales has announced six new directors to help drive the international expansion of its online marketplace.

Shahnila Rashid has been named Chief Trading Officer. She joins the company after nine years at TJX, owner of TK Maxx, where she was Vice President and Merchandising Director from 2005 to 2014.

Fiona Lay was appointed digital director. She spent more than two decades at Debenhams, where she most recently was Digital and Trading Director.

Sarah Savva has been named director of external relations. She has been business lead for third-party brands at Marks & Spencer since 2020.

Cathy Reid becomes Mountain Warehouse’s Customer Excellence Director and Lucy Malcolm Green is Secret Sales’s new digital merchandising director.

Stacey Sue is the company’s new chief financial officer. From 2007 to 2012 she was Finance Director at Lulu Guinness.

Chris Griffin, Cheltenham businessman and Chief Executive Officer of Secret Sales, called the new appointments a “supergroup of retail stars”.

Linsey Temple joins Eastwood Park

Linsey Temple joined Eastwood Park after 10 years of running Gloucestershire Engineering Training, which has helped train many of the county’s leading engineering firms.

She will become Chief Operating Officer of the Wedding, Event, Conference and Hotel in Wotton-under-Edge.

Cheltenham Town FC appoints Tom Adams

Tom Adams is the new Head of Commercial Operations at Cheltenham Town FC.

Mr Adams said he was excited to join Cheltenham Town and looked forward to the challenge and building on the great work of everyone involved in the club.
