Finest small firm to work for in UK is Bristol-based enterprise
A company in Bristol was named Best Small Business in the UK.
Technology consultancy Redrock on Pembroke Road in Clifton took first place in Best Companies’ 2021 employee engagement specialist for companies with 25 to 74 employees.
The company also ranked first in the UK’s Top 30 Consulting Firms, while it was ranked third on the Southwest’s Top 50 Companies List.
The Best Business Survey uses an anonymous survey to capture the views of employees from more than a thousand companies across the country and rank companies on various factors such as leadership, wellbeing, and pay.
It is the third year in a row that Redrock has been placed on the list of the UK’s Best Small Businesses to Work for.
The company, whose clients include the Land Registry and the Care Quality Commission, was founded in 2005 and now has sales in excess of £ 30 million.
The company offers its employees a number of perks, including early beer and pizza completion, and company tours. The company brought employees to New York in 2020.
According to Redrock, all employees are consulted about what it means to be employed in the company in order to maintain a culture of “respect, openness and honesty”.
Co-founder and CEO Dean Harte said it was “a real achievement by David and Goliath” and “probably as big” as the company’s overall victory in being ranked as the UK’s best UK consultancy.

In the Southwest, lingerie and swimwear retailer Bravissimo, with stores in Bath and Cheltenham, topped the list of the 50 best companies to work for. Around 90% of Bravissimo employees said they were proud to work for the organization.
