Nelson joins Desert Financial during a record growth period. Arizona’s largest credit union has increased membership by more than 30 percent in the past two years.

His tasks include the continuation of this strong growth path through the management of the credit union’s brand strategy, demand generation, digital marketing, creative and content development as well as membership loyalty.

“Jeremy’s experience and personal philosophy are closely aligned with our strategy of driving growth by giving more back to the community,” said Cathy Graham, executive vice president, Desert Financial. “We look forward to seeing his leadership fuel member engagement and expand our reach to more Arizonans.”

Nelson began his career at a Utah credit union and worked his way up to vice president of direct marketing at a regional credit union serving 1 million members in seven western states. He holds a Masters of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Utah.
