Deloitte veteran Rob Scott joins HCM consultancy Sensible WFM

Rob Scott, Global Lead HCM, Smart WFM

After working for Deloitte in South Africa and Australia for over two decades, Rob Scott has taken on a new challenge.

Rob Scott has been named Global Lead HCM and Behavioral Technologist at Smart WFM, with the role of leading the company’s human capital management and people technology portfolio. He brings over 30 years of experience in this field to his new role.

“My main focus will be on helping Smart WFM customers create business value through people. As a behavioral technologist, I bring deep and global insights into people, strategy, human resources, payroll, talent management, human resource management and a range of technology offerings including automation, robotics, artificial intelligence and analytics, ”said Scott.

Smart WFM was founded in 2016 and is a management consultancy specializing in digital transformation for human capital management. The company helps its customers design and build employee experiences, increase employee productivity, and increase employee satisfaction. Smart WFM also offers a number of proprietary solutions such as Apitome, a software suite that enables organizations to run their employee programs and processes.

Commenting on why he came to Smart WFM, Scott commented, “The philosophy underlying Smart WFM creates value for customers by harnessing the unique and diverse passions of each individual in an organization. It is an innovative consulting approach that unlocks the real value of people – always the most valuable and expensive resource – in a company. This is an area the Big Four and other large consulting firms in the market are not addressing. ”

Scott joined Deloitte where he was a Principal in Deloitte Consulting’s human capital practice. Previously, he was Global Lead for Strategy and Innovation at Presence of IT, a 600-strong company that was acquired by Deloitte in October 2019.

Early in his career, he spent over a decade at Deloitte in South Africa, where he most recently led the company’s national HR transformation and SAP HR practices, and ten years at Dow Chemicals, most recently as Group HR Manager. “Rob brings a wealth of experience to the company. We look forward to welcoming him,” said Jarrod McGrath, founder and chief executive officer of Smart WFM.

Scott works in Smart WFM’s Sydney office. The company also has an office in Singapore and recently expanded into the US.
