CMTC Helps Duct Cleansing Firm Develop Their Enterprise With HR, Gross sales, & Advertising and marketing Coaching

TORRANCE, California – (BUSINESS WIRE) – California Manufacturing Technology Consulting® (CMTC) partnered with Action Duct two years ago to help them develop a formal sales training program. Since then, ongoing strategic discussions and collaborative efforts between CMTC and Action Duct have resulted in a number of human resources, sales, business strategy and digital marketing engagements that have resulted in significant business growth for Action Duct.

Action Duct was founded in 1978 with the aim of providing sewer cleaning and kitchen exhaust cleaning services to restaurants and other businesses. Now, Action Duct’s services have expanded from sewer cleaning to a wide range of offerings including COVID-19 cleaning and disinfection, silo cleaning, industrial oven cleaning, aeroseal sewer sealing, pressure and power washing services, and more.

When Action Duct’s sales efforts were not delivering the desired sales and revenue on the sales team, Action Duct reached out to CMTC to develop a structured, strategic process and tools that would drive hiring and sales success. The approach involved recruiting, assessing and selecting a psychometric / personality testing tool to screen potential employees, and training to avoid harassment for all Action Duct employees. This project resulted in the hiring of a service manager, stronger hiring practices and a stronger corporate culture. After hiring practices were formalized and new hires were added, CMTC and Action Duct developed templates and tools for employee onboarding and sales training that the company still uses today for new hires and ongoing training.

Action Duct then re-enabled CMTC to increase the number of inbound leads to their website. CMTC conducted a digital marketing audit and identified key opportunities to support Action Duct using a step-by-step approach to improve the SEO and Google rankings for Action Duct’s website and ultimately increase digital marketing efforts optimize. From there, another possibility was quickly spotted: create new content to promote specific services and reformat the website to further increase targeted website traffic and customer acquisition for all Action Duct locations.
