Construction management consultancy Poole Dick established the Poole Dick Plus risk and compliance department as part of its growth plans.

The Staffordshire-based company has appointed former Novus Property Solutions CEO Alan Nixon as director of the new business area

Martin Brownsill, Managing Director at Poole Dick, said, “As the business continues to grow and develop, Poole Dick Plus will allow us to expand our service offering to meet the changing needs of our customers.”

PD + will provide project-related services including on-site quality and specification compliance monitoring, primary design duties, on-site safety inspections and pre-contractual risk mitigation and service connection management.

It will also provide broader support in helping companies assess their business risk and compliance arrangements.

Nixon added, “With over 30 years of construction and property maintenance experience, I understand the importance of planning effectively and managing risk to get the results you want.

“Poole Dick has been very successful in serving clients in the industry for many years and being able to offer these broader services is a great opportunity to build on their excellent reputation in the marketplace.”
