Becht acquires Dutch enterprise consultancy EPS

Becht acquires the Dutch boutique management consultancy EPS

The Dutch consulting firm EPS Customer Solutions has been taken over by Becht, a 1,500-strong global engineering firm.

EPS Customer Solutions (EPS) was founded in 2010 and is a management consultancy for the oil refining, petrochemical, energy and steel industries. The Netherlands-based company advises clients on strategic studies, performance improvement and operational excellence, operational due diligence during M&A, technology assessment, operating licensing and training.

EPS has been operating independently for a decade and has now joined Becht, headquartered in the USA, a global player with offices in North America, Latin America, Europe and the Asia-Pacific region. EPS will be integrated into the European division.

The further development of EPS expands the presence of Becht with a number of management consulting functions based on the field of technology. Chris van der Beek, a Dutchman who heads Becht in Europe, said: “We are delighted that EPS is joining us. This strengthens our regional presence and enables us to better serve our customers in the EMEA region. ”

For the Dutch company and its 50 members, joining forces will enable it to develop the network of one of the world’s leading companies in its core industry: oil refineries. Over 95% of the refineries in the USA and Canada are on Becht’s customer list, and outside the USA the company is also one of the leading companies in this field.

“Joining Becht is a great opportunity for EPS consultants to work for existing and new customers, while our customers can benefit from Becht’s expanded range of expertise and skills,” said Diederik Visser, Managing Director of EPS.
