Arch Insurance coverage streamlines enterprise journey insurance coverage

Arch Insurance streamlines business travel insurance

Arch Insurance has launched a new program that allows brokers to quickly evaluate and buy business travel account business for US companies with up to 250 business travelers, according to a press release.

The program is called Arch BTAExpress and leverages an underwriting and technology experience that allows users to access simple designs, pricing, and bindings of BTA policies and offers that are usually delivered almost instantly.

These things, the press release stated, enable brokers to serve their customers faster.

“We are pleased to introduce our new BTA product options and platforms to you in an environment where efficiency and simplicity are key assets,” said Jeff Ray, senior vice president of Arch Insurance Co., Accident & Health. “Due to the increased awareness of COVID-19, we expect increased interest in travel insurance protection for business and leisure trips. Our new approach of connecting brokers and insured persons to our products will simplify the process.”

Other policies touted with Arch Insurance include the ability to add coverage for medical expenses outside of the country, and all plans include things like global medical and evacuation assistance for employees and all family members, the news release said.

Other services are also offered, including rehabilitation assistance, counseling, family reunification, and childcare if an accident occurs while traveling.

The return of business travel to something close to prepandemic will depend on a variety of factors. Vaccines will be an important factor. Experts predict the number of “digital health passports” will increase to ensure travelers have been vaccinated or tested negative before boarding a plane.

According to a recent survey by BCD Travel, most people see the vaccine as a kind of north star as travel becomes safer. 60 percent of the respondents said that they will probably travel within six months.
