LEGO Group launches its first story improvement platform with Tongal

The platform gives a worldwide developer community unprecedented direct access to the LEGO creative team and revolutionizes the way new talent and stories are discovered
The LEGO Group, a multiple winner of the World Branding AwardsAnd content creation platform Tongal announced the launch of LEGO World Builder, a unique story development platform that gives the LEGO fan community and creative talents around the world direct access to the LEGO creative team to develop stories, shows and more.
LEGO World Builder was developed in collaboration with Tongal and is based on Tongal technology. It connects a global community of developers with the company who can contribute ideas, collaborate, provide feedback and acquire options or acquire rights to new concepts. Everyone over the age of 18 can join the open community and tell their own stories or join forces with other fans, writers, animators and designers on the platform and work together on story worlds.
Every year, thousands of LEGO Group creators send out original ideas for new content and stories. LEGO World Builder is entirely dedicated to empowering this type of creativity. The platform will also feature challenges from the LEGO creative teams, where fans can share their own opinions on existing LEGO IPs.
“The LEGO Group is known for innovation. As early adopters of open platforms, they have shown the leadership of engaging those who love their products throughout the creative process, ”said James DeJulio, Co-Founder and CEO of Tongal. "They were one of the first organizations to adopt Tongal and our creative community and have had success developing and producing content on the platform. Now they have a special environment in which to take it to the next level."
The LEGO Group has been using Tongal and its virtual production capabilities since 2012, working with its global creative community to produce video content via social networks and streaming.
“Tongal has been our partner for many years and offers us the opportunity to get in touch with our creative community. LEGO World Builder is an extension of that, ”said Keith Malone, senior director of content development for the LEGO Group. “We are privileged to be a brand that stands for creativity not only with our incredible products, but also with the experiences we have for our fans. We hope the next Ninjago or LEGO masters can emerge from this collaboration! "
