70-strong management and expertise consultancy Cirrus joins Accenture

The 70-strong leadership and talent consultancy Cirrus joins Accenture

Accenture has acquired leadership and talent consultancy Cirrus to support its offering in C-suite transformations. Based in the UK and Australia, the company offers Accenture digital learning capabilities that the company would like to leverage for its customers when they find themselves in a disruptive global marketplace.

The challenging business environment that had arisen due to digital disruption had already resulted in executives having to update their skills at unprecedented rates. In response to a number of fast and chaotic new hurdles – including the global turmoil of the Covid-19 pandemic – top management must be able to use organizational agility, strategic flexibility, and team diversity if businesses are to survive and thrive. To that end, with 70 experts in the UK and Australia, Cirrus is a professional services company that combines leadership, talent and engagement expertise to evaluate and develop leaders for global clients.

The experts at Cirrus were founded in 2010 by Simon Hayward and try to bring about behavioral changes within the company management while promoting the implementation of agile working methods in order to further exploit the potential of customers. To this end, Cirrus has a proven track record of delivering business impact through bespoke leadership and team building solutions delivered through virtual, personal, and digital channels – which has proven essential during the blackout months.

As Accenture seeks to improve its own development and coaching skills for executives seeking business transformation, global consulting giant has purchased Cirrus for an undisclosed fee. Cirrus joins Accenture’s Talent and Organization / Human Potential division helping to innovate and reinvent C-Suites and broader teams of clients.

“Joining Accenture is an opportunity to offer our skills to more customers who seek leadership consulting expertise,” noted Hayward, Cirrus chief executive officer. “Together, we will be able to offer our innovative digital learning and leadership development services to customers around the world at a time of truly critical need.”

Christie Smith, Global Head of Talent and Organization / Human Potential at Accenture, commented: “Our clients expect us to provide advice and innovation on their transformation journeys, especially in times of change. With the acquisition of Cirrus, we can offer leadership and talent development programs to support them more quickly and on a larger scale. “

Recently, Accenture has steadily expanded its multi-faceted advisory service through a sustainable purchasing campaign. Cirrus is the third acquisition Accenture made in the UK in 2021. In February, the company significantly expanded its digital consulting capabilities in the UK with the arrival of Edenhouse and Infinity Works, adding 660 professionals to its team. Meanwhile, Accenture recently acquired New Zealand-based technology company Zag for SAP and cloud solutions. This move also strengthened Accenture’s digital transformation capabilities in New Zealand and Australia to meet increased demand from companies migrating to the cloud and next-generation products from SAP.
