PacSun options its clients and workers in its newest marketing campaign

PacSun launches PacCares, a new philanthropic initiative dedicated to the health and wellbeing of young people
This year PacSun celebrates the Christmas season with a campaign called PacSun Family, which introduces customers and employees instead of professional models so that PacSun can thank its loyal customers and employees for coming together in a difficult year.
"This year we were inspired by the support and commitment of our employees and the loyalty of our community," says Brie Olson, Chief Brand Officer. “We wanted to celebrate it in our holiday campaign, so we cast the entire campaign Instagram to present true fans of the brand. Our creative team went through the posts tagging our merchandise to find the cast who styled themselves in some of their favorite looks for the coming season. "
As a further homage to the community built up by youth culture, PacSun announces PacCares. a new philanthropic initiative dedicated to the health and wellbeing of young people.
PacCares will partner with a network of philanthropic organizations that represent the core PacSun values for good mental health, diversity and equality. PacSun will use the proceeds from the sale of the PacCares collection of merchandise to contribute up to $ 250,000 / £ 192,000 to support the organizations.
Early PacCares beneficiaries include the Born This Way Foundation and Girl Up.
As a brand of its generation, PacSun will use its platform to create an open forum for topics that heavily influence Gen-Z with PacTalks – a new bi-weekly IG Live series that kicked off on October 16, 2020 with current segments and is moderated by experts on this area and open to questions from the PacSun community. Initial topics included voting, reducing stress on social media, diversity, and inclusion and gratitude.
The first episode "Let's Talk: Take Action" shows a conversation between actress and activist Yara Shahidi and youth activist Naomi Wadler about getting involved in your community. Future guests are Nupol Kiazolu, civil rights activist and organizer.
