A Yorkshire based supply chain and logistics consultancy has grown into an employee owned company.

Hatmill’s founder, Simon Dixon, has transferred 100 percent of the shares to an employee-owned trust (EOT) for the benefit of employees.

Founded in 2009, the company now has a team of more than 35 people and sales of £ 6 million.

Working with clients such as ASDA, Greggs, NHS Supply Chain and Boots, Hatmil helps improve their storage, transportation, forecasting and inventory, including the latest in warehouse automation technology.

After the transaction, employees will benefit financially from the future success of Hatmill and, thanks to a long-term EMI (Employee Management Incentive) program triggered by the EOT transaction, they will be able to share the proceeds from the transfer of shares to EOT.
