Validant Acquires Oriel STAT A MATRIX, a World Consultancy and Coaching Agency for the Medical Gadget Business

SAN FRANCISCO – (BUSINESS WIRE) – Validant, a leading transatlantic quality, compliance and regulation advisory group, has acquired Oriel STAT A MATRIX (‘Oriel’), a global medical device industry consulting and training company.

Oriel is headquartered in New Jersey and provides regulatory, quality, compliance advice and training to the medical device industry. Oriel is an industry leader in quality, compliance and auditor training for the medical device industry. It has the largest content library in the market and has relationships with 90% of the top ten medical device companies in the world. The company uses a combination of face-to-face and virtual training courses to ensure customers have access to knowledge offered by industry-leading instructors anytime, anywhere.

Validant’s acquisition of Oriel is another important step in its international growth strategy, which aims to combine world-class regulatory and quality providers and continue their aggressive growth with further investments. This is followed by the acquisition of DataRevive in 2019, a regulatory strategy and advice for global clients, and IDEC in 2020, a regulatory advice based in Tokyo.

The acquisition will expand the Validant Group’s offering to include training services and deepen regulatory advice through the integration of an experienced team. The combination also gives customers better access to industry-leading advisors and solutions across the product lifecycle.
