Tips on how to Add Retro Print Results in Photoshop

In today's Photoshop video tutorial, I'm going to show you a number of filters and adjustments that you can apply to your graphics to give them an old, aged print effect. The aesthetics of inexpensive printing methods in the mid-20th century are associated with retro comics, magazines, and matchboxes. Ink bleeding, misregistration, and visible halftone dot patterns are all side effects of cheap offset printing on cheap paper, but the visual features that used to be mistakes in the printing process are now desirable effects to give retro artwork the look of modern art. Follow these steps in Adobe Photoshop to turn your razor-sharp digital designs into nostalgic retro prints. We will add filters that reproduce the appearance of high ink absorption with irregular edges and bleeding corners, convert all colors to halftone screens, separate and offset the black areas as if the printing plate was misaligned, and then finish the effect with worn ink and ink Paper textures to add the fine details of the pulp and the affected areas where the print is worn.
