Bristol biotech business to create new facility and jobs following multi-million pound investment

A Liverpool-based agency booking platform is set to create 250 jobs for young people across the UK as part of the government’s Kickstart program.

Redwigwam said the entry-level jobs will give successful candidates the opportunity to gain work experience during a six-month internship.

Those aged 16-24 and with universal credit can apply for the paid roles under the £ 2 billion program that guarantees workers 25 hours per week.

Some of the roles require candidates to go to work, while other roles are completely removed and work from home.

Job opportunities available across the country include brand ambassadors, administrators, customer service, digital marketing executives, graphic designers, receptionists, social media executives, and field service executives.

There are also job roles for e-commerce product assistants, JavaScript developers, nutritionists, supply chain assistants, and even a pastry chef.

Lorna Davidson, founder and CEO of redwigwam in Liverpool, said: “We are excited to work with the government to create 6 month jobs for people aged 16 to 24 with Universal Credit.

“These entry-level roles are specifically designed for those who are struggling to find employment and want the chance to learn from scratch. It will give hundreds of young people the opportunity to learn new skills that they can develop early in their careers.

“Everyone is welcome to apply, regardless of their level of education or experience, and they will all be paid for the duration of their internship.”
