Tech military founder Forbes to chair VizCareer – Day by day Enterprise

Alistair Forbes

Recruiting firm VizCareer has hired tech entrepreneur and Scottish Tech Army founder Alistair Forbes as chairman, while Shannon McKechnie, previously a director at Search, has become the first director of customer relations.

The Glasgow-based company has developed proprietary video-first software and signed contracts with the recruiting portal s1jobs and the management consultancy Taranata Group.

CEO and Co-Founder Connor Haggerty said, “We have invested in developing our technology over the past few years and are now ready to make 2021 a breakout year.

“We have very ambitious plans, including significant growth in the team. We currently have eight people on the team, but we expect that number to climb to 25 by the end of this year and to 50 by the end of 2022. ”

Connor founded VizCareer in 2017 with his father, recruiting industry expert Steve Haggerty.

New Chairman Alistair Forbes said, “The timing couldn’t be more favorable for VizCareer and there is a huge global market for the company to address.”
