Tata Consultancy expands strategic partnership with Vodafone Netherlands

Tejas Networks bags multi-year contract from Asia Consultancy Group

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has expanded its strategic partnership with VodafoneZiggo BV Netherlands to help the latter accelerate the expansion of the fixed network. This enables great connectivity for subscribers and a faster introduction of new services. The financial details of the deals were not disclosed.

As part of the partnership, TCS will use AI and machine learning technologies as well as TCS TwinX, its digital twin solution for companies. The digital TwinX model TwinX from TCS will help VodafoneZiggo to gain a deeper understanding of its existing network infrastructure and to create a data-driven roadmap for the introduction of its B2B fixed network.

With the power of predictive analytics, the telecommunications company can identify early where network upgrades are required and prioritize investments in order to achieve its “Go Digital” strategic vision, which focuses on customer orientation, data-driven, digital first and agile methods of working. For example, VodafoneZiggo can model various design scenarios, understand how quickly new networks can be built, and foresee the likelihood of roadblocks that can affect this process. This will help improve investment decision making, speed adoption, and improve customer experience.

“To stay competitive in today’s rapidly changing business environment, CSPs need to rapidly expand their infrastructure and innovate to introduce new digital services that create more value for customers. By using TCS TwinX, VodafoneZiggo gains a better understanding of its business environment and can quickly adopt new technologies, achieve better business results and accelerate the momentum of its digital transformation, ”said Kamal Bhadada, Head of the Business Group Communication, Media & Information Services, TCS.

TCS has been present in the Netherlands since 1992 and currently works with over 50 Dutch telecommunications, media and entertainment, financial services and manufacturing clients on their growth and transformation journeys.
