Skechers Collaborates with Goodyear on Footwear
The Skechers Style series features outsoles with Goodyear rubber technology for improved grip, stability and durability
The global shoe brand Skechers is building on the technology of their shoes in a new collaboration with The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. Selected models in different categories for men, women and children use Goodyear rubber technology in custom Skechers outsoles, which provide more grip, stability and durability.

The shoes with Goodyear Performance outsoles are designed for durability with long-lasting comfort, excellent grip on a variety of surfaces and weather conditions and improved stability through exceptional traction.
This is made possible by the rubber technology developed by Goodyear, which contains a special polymer, including sustainable soybean oil – a renewable, bio-based material used in some of the company's most powerful tires – available in the U.S. and Canada – Assurance WeatherReady, Eagle Exhilarate and Eagle Enforcer all-weather and the Assurance ComfortDrive.
Originally launched on the market with three running shoes from the Skechers GOrun collection, the range with Goodyear Performance Outsoles now includes a wider range of running and running shoes and will be expanded to the categories of sporty lifestyle, trail and work shoes for men and women by 2020. as well as children's styles.
