Bridgnorth-based consulting firm Good2Great is behind the ‘Growth Club’, which is designed for companies looking to partner with other like-minded people to grow their businesses and even reassess their entire business in the face of the current crisis.

More than 40 members now meet regularly online for networks, tutorials and workshops.

Two participants, fitness trainer Ben Mescam and podcast producer Nick Margerrison, originally met through the Growth Club and worked together on a new project.

Good2Great’s Johnny Themans said that when Ben and Nick found out about each other’s new startups, they identified an opportunity to work in partnership on a project they hoped would help people get away with each other during the lockdown keep fit and healthy.

“Ben wanted to start a new seven week podcast and Nick, who has extensive experience creating radio and podcasts, agreed to help Ben get the project off the ground.

“With Nick’s expertise and support, Ben managed to publish his test podcast ‘A Healthy Conversation with Ben’, in which he spoke to people from the world of health and wellbeing on topics such as motivation, the importance of sleep and the question How to Fortify Yourself, Body Chat, ”Johnny said.

Nick, who has worked for leading Ratio stations and is now the Creative Director for TopMedTalk.com, said, “Ben’s presentation style is relaxed, friendly and informal, so his guests are happy to open up to him.

“I worked behind the scenes to edit his work and give it a second ear before we released it. The end result are programs full of information, e.g. B. Advice on working from home and making sure you are seated correctly.

“The podcast has been well received online and I’m happy that podcasting opened up the opportunity for fresh voices like Ben and that it was a pleasure to work with.

“We met during our Good2Great Growth Club sessions where it was evident that he could both speak and enjoy listening.”
