Panopto, a provider of video management systems for businesses and universities, announced the addition of Adrianna Burrows, a technology and marketing veteran, to its board of directors. Burrows is the CMO of Payscale, where she is responsible for all marketing plans and programs, including branding, product, positioning, corporate communications, demand generation, and go-to-market strategy. She currently serves on the Stack Overflow Board of Directors. Burrows was also the CMO of Cornerstone OnDemand and the CMO of Stack Overflow. Burrows previously worked at Microsoft as General Manager of Windows Global Marketing, where she led the global rollout of Windows 10. Panopto is headquartered in Seattle with offices in Pittsburgh, London, Hong Kong, Singapore and Sydney.

The Tacoma City Council is seeking two positions on the Planning Commission, District Numbers 3 and 5. Applicants seeking a district position must reside in that district and serve a three-year term from July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2024. The planning commission develops and updates the master plan and its elements and formulates effective and efficient land use and development regulations and processes that implement the master plan. The commission is also examining various planning issues, such as comprehensive reorganization of development, moratoria, provisional development, planning prior to connection, designation of historic districts, urban development and transport and capital development programs. Shiftboard, a provider of workforce management software, has named Travis Shipley as chief revenue officer. As CRO of Shiftboard, Shipley is responsible for growing global sales for both new and existing customers. He joins the company’s Executive Leadership Team reporting to Shiftboard President and CEO Sterling Wilson. Prior to joining Shiftboard, Shipley was Vice President of Sales at Wrike, a SaaS collaborative work management company recently acquired by Citrix. Prior to Wrike, Shipley was Vice President of Sales at IT solutions provider Zones. Before that he was Vice President of Sales at CompuCom and founder of the international management consultancy Portelo. Shipley also spent nearly a decade in various sales leadership positions at Microsoft.

DA Davidson announced that the company has hired Christopher Brendler as Managing Director and Senior Research Analyst. Brendler will be responsible for payments, balance sheet fintech and crypto. Brendler has decades of experience in equity research, spending most of his time at Stifel Nicolaus and most recently at Seaport Global. The Downtown Issaquah Association (DIA) has been designated as an affiliated Main Street program.
