Scopernia launches gaming consulting providing for enterprise

Scopernia launches corporate gaming advisory service

An innovative offer: The business consultancy Scopernia has founded a new gaming consulting practice in the Middle East to support companies in the gaming industry with branding and to use insights from the young consumer base in the industry to also help customers in other industries.

Based in Dubai, Scopernia is a new age consulting firm focused on people-centered innovation and digital transformation – a modernity best exemplified by their new practice Scopernia Gaming. The proposal takes up several very current global trends at the same time.

Gaming is a fast growing industry – even more so after the pandemic-induced focus on home entertainment. A September 2020 report by consulting firm Simon Kucher & Partners found that Covid-19 increased the global video game market to $ 170 billion – from $ 148 billion in 2019.

Supporting companies in this emerging industry with their branding and competitiveness is one aspect of Scopernia’s new ambitions. “We’re helping companies get the most out of the gaming ecosystem rather than the superficial banner ad approach that doesn’t attract effective eyeballs,” said Jeremy Denisty, Managing Director of Scopernia MENA.

Scopernia Gaming’s value goes beyond that, however – largely due to its demographic engagement. Denisty explained how the new guidance service addresses “one of the most important audiences for any organization – the Middle East’s largest demographic, its youth”.

“By understanding the aspirations and attitudes of young people through insights from the gambling industry, we will help governments and businesses prepare for the future. Companies can learn more about customer behavior, especially that of young people, and new ways of life. “

“This will accelerate the positive transformation of organizations and build an ecosystem of opportunities to thrive in the new normal,” he added. Given Scopernia’s mission to help customers future-proof through a variety of digital transformation and branding services, the new division is an important next step.

Expert support

Lalit Vase – a gaming manager with over 20 years of experience at Red Entertainment Distribution – helps manage the new practice. He also currently runs two of his own gaming companies in Dubai: the creative agency Power League Gaming and the talent development company NASR Esports. He will partner with Scopernia Gaming when it finds its legs.

This is only a matter of time, according to Vase, based on the state of gaming today. “I’ve spent more than two decades in video games and I’ve seen it go from being a niche business to being a mainstream form of entertainment. The video game and esports industry has a bright future in the Middle East, ”he said.

“With Scopernia Gaming we would like to advise people and companies on how they can use the knowledge from the gaming industry.”
