As part of Samsung The #GetThroughThisTogether initiative was launched to help people remain hopeful in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Samsung Smile Stories campaign was launched to inspire and educate the brand's users around the world about the power of a simple smile.
The Samsung Smile Stories campaign aims to put a smile on people's faces by providing science-based facts about the physical and psychological benefits of smiling. The campaign is also designed to bring convenience to users by encouraging them to appreciate the little things that can be found all around them in daily life that can put a smile on their faces.
Samsung is asking the Galaxy community around the world to join this positive movement by sharing their photos or videos and their stories about what has made them smile over the past few months using the hashtags #SamsungSmileStories and #withGalaxy on Instagram to inspire others to celebrate the little things.
The inspiring posts that have been shared on social media so far have been compiled into a video and shown on London's landmark Digital Picage in Piccadilly Circus and Milan Cathedral since October 13th and New York's Times Square since October 14th to convey a positive and hopeful message to people around the world who are trying very hard right now despite the challenges of the pandemic. The video will also be posted on Samsung.com and Samsung's social channels.
Beginning October 13, passers-by at these great landmarks will be able to enjoy the smiles and stories of other people from around the world who contributed to the campaign and take away a reminder of why it matters to stay healthy and positive during this challenging time Hopefully you will get them back with a smile on your face too.
