Rajesh Menon, Middle East Advisory Director, Baker Tilly

Global services company Baker Tilly has appointed a new head to its Middle East consultancy: Rajesh Menon.

Rajesh Menon brings nearly 25 years of business consulting experience to Baker Tilly. Before joining the mid-market specialist, he was Managing Partner of Beacon Consulting (a boutique consulting firm in Qatar) and associate advisor to Arthur D. Little (the world’s oldest consulting firm).

Menon previously worked for KPMG for seventeen years, most recently as Head of Consulting for Qatar and Bahrain, where he led the company’s strategy, business transformation, operations, finance and people & change offerings. At the beginning of his career, Menon also worked for Big Four rival Deloitte.

Using his experience and network, Menon has now been hired to lead Baker Tilly’s advisory business in the region and East Africa. He oversees an advisory team of over 100 who work in 50 different offices, including the Qatar office where he is based himself.

“The opportunity to lead and grow the strong Baker Tilly brand in the region and provide solutions to our customers’ business problems is a challenge that I am very much looking forward to. As an established and genuine management consulting company, we support customers throughout the region with tailor-made advice, a comprehensive range of services and digital technology solutions. “

According to Mago Singh, Group Managing Partner of Baker Tilly Middle East & Africa, Menon was the ideal candidate to realize the company’s growth ambitions in the consulting landscape. “He brings a deep understanding of the business landscape in the region and trustworthy customer relationships. We are happy to have him on board. “

Singh founded Baker Tilly in the Middle East more than 40 years ago, and today the regional division outshines the accounting and advisory landscape. Baker Tilly is the tenth largest in the world and ranks 5th in the Middle East due to its 500 employees.
