Eddisons, headquartered in Leeds nationally, has secured a four-year appointment as the main supplier to the state property management services Crown Commercial Service (CCS) valued at £ 500 million.

The national procurement framework allows government agencies and other public sector organizations to use the services of suppliers who have passed the rigorous selection process.

As a CCS supplier, Eddisons works on all aspects of the real estate lifecycle, including operations and management, advising a wide range of public buildings and land, from community offices, universities and schools to hospitals, prisons, brownfields and leisure centers.

The framework will enable the company to provide end-to-end corporate real estate advisory services to the public sector.

Javid Patel, Head of Eddisons’ Growing Public Sector Department, said: “We are delighted to have been appointed to this prestigious new national procurement framework, the CCS.

“It is a great asset to our practice and a significant milestone that further strengthens our position as a preferred partner across the public sector.

“Our appointment is supported by Eddisons’ growing internal teams and partner alliances, which enable us to offer a holistic end-to-end service.

“Helping public clients address the new real estate challenges they face post-pandemic is vital, in addition to fueling economic growth, supporting the government’s leveling agenda, and moving to a net-zero carbon economy . “

Eddisons employs more than 300 people in 19 UK offices and in his new role as CCS, together with its partners, will provide strategic and professional services to public clients.

The appointment also provides for the company to provide technical expertise, feasibility studies and estate management services.

In collaboration with the global facility management and sustainability service group Equans, Eddisons also offers special services such as government soft landings, which enable a smooth transition from building a building to operation.

Eddison’s growing list of public sector organizations includes the communities of Southampton, Enfield, Blackpool, Peterborough and Kirklees.

The company has also secured several framework appointments, including the Birmingham City Council and state sourcing partner Bramble Hub. Earlier this year Eddisons announced it had won a contract to advise NHS Property Services on its £ 3 billion portfolio of over 4,000 properties.

Managing Partner Anthony Spencer said, “The blanket order shows the hard work and dedication of the Eddisons team to meet CCS’s stringent quality standards.

“Delivering service excellence in the public sector has always been at the heart of our business and we are proud to be associated with such a prestigious framework that enables us to expand our market share in the public sector as part of our broader business plan.”
