Real estate consultancy Eddisons has strengthened its presence in South Yorkshire with its new Sheffield office with a team of 13 real estate professionals.

The team will be led by Director Adrian Lunn, who left his role as Lambert Smith Hampton Regional Director for South Yorkshire and the East Midlands to develop Eddison’s operations in the city.

Lunn was joined earlier this year by former LSH colleague James Dale, who heads the Eddison Sheffield valuation team, and Abbie Hickman, specialist in plant and machinery valuations.

Earlier this month, when Eddison saw the acquisition of long-established Sheffield Chartered Surveyors’ Fernie Greaves, more colleagues joined the South Yorkshire operations.

Additional hires are planned for the coming months as the consulting firm expands its presence in Sheffield.

That summer, Eddisons, a major asset to the company, was named as the supplier for the $ 500 million.

Lunn said: “It is exciting that we are playing an instrumental role in the big changes that are taking place in South Yorkshire as redevelopment projects take shape and Sheffield becomes an even better city to live and work in.

“We gave the go-ahead: after we only opened the new office at the beginning of the year, we are already working with a large number of customers in the region, including banks, universities, municipalities and ministries.”

The acquisition of Fernie Greaves is the second this year for Leeds-based Eddisons, having acquired London-based Chartered Surveyors HNG in February.

With more deals in the pipeline for 2022, Eddisons currently employs more than 300 people in 21 UK offices.
