Pringles once more sponsors League of Legends European Championship

Pringles again sponsors the League of Legends European Championship

Pringles has been appointed Official Snacks Partner of the League of Legends 2020 Spring Split (LEC)

Pringles announced that it will return as a sponsor for one of the largest esports leagues in Europe, the Spring Split European Championship of Legends. The championship started in January with the final on April 25th and 26th in Hungary.

The brand not only offers essential snacks for the LEC teams, but also offers League of Legends players the chance to win a Hextech Skin or League of Legends prize every day until May 5.

Snackers can simply buy any can of Pringles and enter the batch code on the website to win an exclusive Hextech skin, one of the rarest skins in League of Legends, RIOT points and Hextech Chest & Key.

The snack favorite offers 10 lucky winners an exclusive experience at the LEC Studios in Berlin. This price, which cannot be bought, includes tickets for the show, a tour of the backstage area, a game test on stage and above all the meeting with some casters.

Miranda Prins, VP of Pringles, said of the sponsorship: “After the successful partnership last year, we were very happy to return as LEC sponsor for the second time in a row. We know gamers love Pringles, so it only makes sense to take part in one of the biggest gaming championships in the world. The energy and passion of LEC fans last year has been incredible and we can't wait to see them this year. "

This promotion supports Pringles' European strategy of becoming the preferred snack for players while enhancing the gaming experience. Pringles, already celebrated as a player's favorite, will continue to delight fans with exciting sponsorship deals and campaigns that will increase its footprint in the gaming community.

The LEC spring final will take place in Budapest on April 25th and 26th. The top teams of the regular season are fighting to become Spring Split champions and secure a place at the World Championship later this year.
