Omnicom Group Appoints DDB Worldwide Global President and CEO

Omnicom PR group, a division of the Omnicom Group, announced yesterday a strategic alliance LaVoieHealthScience to provide global customers with a broader range of integrated teams with health and scientific experience.

The alliance combines the magnitude of OPRG with LHS 'capabilities in strategic communications, including investor relations and financial communications, as well as health and scientific innovation expertise in the development stage. The agencies will share customer recommendations and marketing resources as well as new business development opportunities.

OPRG's combined agency health industries form an offering called OPRG Health, which consists of 1,200 health consultants in 14 agencies in more than 100 countries worldwide. As the healthcare landscape is becoming more complex and innovations are disrupting faster than ever, OPRG Health has been organized to provide world-class teams of consultants and specialists who can scale quickly and globally to provide solutions for every business-defining moment.

"The biotech and life science sector has been critical to the year-on-year growth of the OPRG health portfolio," said Paul George, global business leader for health at the Omnicom Public Relations Group.

"With the additional know-how of LaVoieHealthScience, we will offer our customers a comprehensive range of integrated communication, investor relations, change management, advocacy, policy and marketing services from the A series through the IPO to product marketing and offer beyond that. "

“At LaVoieHealthScience we support companies from the fields of health and science in the establishment, development and growth of emerging companies. Our year-over-year growth is due to the rapid pace of innovation in the healthcare and science sectors, driven in the U.S. alone by record annual U.S. healthcare funding, market valuations, and continued approval of 48 new drugs in 2019. Providing end-to-end capabilities to customers in global markets is critical to our agency's strategy and customer service plan, ”said founder and CEO, Donna L. LaVoie, LaVoieHealthScience.

"We have been working together for a year and the formalization of the alliance seemed appropriate given our shared track record."
