New Steadiness celebrates the ability of feminine experiences in new marketing campaign

New Balance celebrates the power of female experiences in a new campaign

New Balance shares a multitude of stories and experiences of its athletes and ambassadors across all channels

New balance celebrated International Women’s Day by launching a storytelling series that focuses on women’s self-expression and women’s empowerment.

In line with the brand’s commitment to purposeful action and storytelling, New Balance will share a variety of stories and experiences of its athletes and ambassadors across all of the brand’s channels.

Athletes include runners Brenda Martinez, Nozomi Tanaka and Amy Hunt, skateboarder Samarria Brevard, soccer players Rocky Rodriguez and Tatiana Pinto, tennis player Danielle Collins and cricketer Meg Lanning.

All of the content featured in this campaign has been shot entirely by the athletes themselves to give fans an unprecedented glimpse into their daily lives, what drives them and what advice they have for younger generations.

“With this campaign, we want to highlight the importance of self-expression for women of all ages and backgrounds,” says Tracy Knauer, Senior Director of North America Marketing at New Balance.

“As a brand, we believe that empowerment is the key to creativity and unlocking the freedom to express yourself fully and to pursue goals. Although our athletes’ stories differ in many ways, they are all interconnected by celebrating the unique style, passions and inspiration in our collective community. “

The campaign itself was produced by 19. & Park, a women-run agency based in New York City that takes great pride in developing meaningful campaigns that educate and inspire young women.

Whether it’s Danielle Collins who shares the importance of staying on the ground or Samarria Brevard who encourages young girls and leads by example, the series will do just that and inspire all women and girls to hear their voices and celebrate who they are and what drives them.

“It’s important to always be true to who you are and what you want to do in life,” says Brevard. “The experiences of all women and girls deserve to be heard and celebrated. We hope through this campaign to encourage people to share their stories with the world. “

While this campaign sheds light on the way New Balance athletes express themselves, it is a symbol of a greater commitment by the brand to create a stage for women in sport to share their stories through 2021 and 2021 Be able to tell beyond that.
