Canadian accounting and advisory firm MNP LLP announces that it will purchase part of Deloitte’s Canadian business under a new contract between two of the largest professional services companies in the country.

Calgary-based MNP is expected to add approximately 900 Deloitte employees, 70 partners and executives, and 25 offices.

The deal is part of a plan to add 20 offices in Quebec, according to MNP. In British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Ontario there will be a combination of staff transfers from existing Deloitte offices as well as a select number of full office acquisitions.
