Milton Keynes Business Leaders Partnership to host online speaker event with NatWest's Chief Economist - MKFM 106.3FM

The Milton Keynes Business Leaders Partnership (MKBLP) will host an online event late next month with guest speaker Sebastian Burnside, NatWest’s chief economist.

Milton Keynes Business Leaders Partnership Limited was founded in September 2008 and is the successor to the original MK Business Leaders, which itself was formerly the Large Employers Association.

It seeks to be a valued and influential influencer focused on investing in and celebrating the continued and sustainable growth of the business, community, people and skills within Milton Keynes through innovation, partnership and collaboration.

A spokesman for MKBLP explained their upcoming event in detail: “At our event on July 15th we will be accompanied by NatWest chief economist Sebastian Burnside to discuss future economic prospects.

“Due to the expansion of COVID restrictions, our July 15th summer drinks reception has been postponed to July 21st, which should have been a return to personal events.

“However, we are excited to have Sebastian attending what may be our ultimate online speaker event to share his thoughts on the economic recovery.

“Sebastian’s economic insights help NatWest understand how to change to meet the needs of an evolving economy and customer base. His analysis covers a wide range of issues affecting private and corporate customers, from demographic change and the world market.” Student debt to macroprudential and monetary policy.

“Prior to joining NatWest, Sebastian worked for Ofcom, the telecommunications regulator, and in consulting. He has degrees from the London School of Economics and the University of Edinburgh.”
