Maxis’ new digital advertising starter package for SMEs
KUALA LUMPUR: Maxis has launched its Digital Marketing Starter Kit, an all-in-one platform for digital self-service marketing that enables companies to reach more customers online.
On Wednesday it was said that the starter kit reflects its commitment to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the country with digitization, especially in e-commerce.
The Starter Kit is designed to empower businesses new to e-commerce and businesses with no prior digital marketing experience. It’s part of a series of proposals under Maxis’ e-commerce and retail trade, a statement said.
According to Maxis, companies who want to explore the platform’s features can take advantage of a free 30-day trial. The starter kit can be used as part of the SME Digitalization Grant.
Claire Featherstone, director of corporate practices at Maxis (pictured), said skills and digitization are critical to the survival of SMEs, especially in a highly competitive environment.
“This platform can essentially open up new opportunities for them to be a key part of a rapidly evolving digital ecosystem and expand into national and even international markets,” she said.
The starter kit addresses several vulnerabilities for companies that lack time to manage multiple digital platforms and sales channels. little or no expertise to effectively reach online shoppers; and limited resources to outsource creative work on ads.
With the starter kit, companies can quickly and easily set up an online presence.

According to Maxis, the Starter Kit can save companies time and reach more customers by creating effective digital ads on Facebook, Instagram and Google simultaneously on a single platform without having to create and manage multiple social media accounts.
