Levio buys software program engineering consultancy Voonyx
Levio, a technology consultancy headquartered in Montreal, has acquired Voonyx, a Quebec-based software development consultancy.
Voonyx was founded in 2010 and specializes in digital transformation and software development and has expertise in Java, web applications, mobile applications, DevOps and quality assurance, among other things.
The company has particular expertise in implementing Guidewire, a major insurance software suite with products such as PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter and BillingCenter. The company also implements EIS, another software package for the insurance industry.
Voonyx has more than 120 consultants in offices in Quebec, Montreal and Boca Raton, Louisiana. The company has been recognized as one of the Top 100 Employers in Canada (SME category) for at least six years.
Levio’s acquisition of Voonyx will bring the company’s workforce to more than 1,600. Levio has eight offices in Canada, the United States, and Morocco.

The company acquired Landry & Associates, a Montreal-based boutique management consultancy, earlier this year, and Montreal-based IT consulting firms Logimethods and ERP Connex last year.
