Leeds consultancy agency Reply Digital to create 35 jobs

Leeds-based Answer Digital is accelerating its expansion plans with the hiring of 35 new employees.

The IT and digital consulting firm that is helping corporations and the public sector advance their digital transformation plans said the roles have been discontinued in support of its growth.

In addition to hiring, the company continues to invest in its academy, which for the past six years has brought young people up to speed in digital skills in software development, integration, test automation and project management. Another 20 will be added to the academy program over the next nine months.

More than half of Answer Digital’s employees are alumni of the academy, which was founded to nurture the next generation of talent for the company.

Commenting on the addition, Gary Parlett, Founder and General Manager of Answer Digital: “After we switched to employee ownership last year, the business has grown at the speed of light.

“Our deep understanding and technical know-how in the areas of healthcare, financial services and a large number of other industries have established themselves with high-quality and long-standing customers.

The switch to employee participation was a matter of course for Answer Digital and was positively received by customers.

Mr. Parlett concluded, “We are particularly proud of the great strides our academy has taken to support so many young people in starting their careers in the digital sector.

“Growing from within and empowering brilliant people to do amazing things is at the core of our strategy.”

Answer Digital has grown in several sectors. It was nominated for the £ 800 million new digital health functions framework that will help public health organizations deliver digital outcomes and services.

Answer Digital’s health team works across the NHS to help the front line deliver digital solutions and enable transformative care.

It is also helping local trusts develop new ways to schedule and hire direct care, and is working in partnership with NHS Digital on the Integrating Care program to develop the national exchange of records and events.

Answer was founded in 1999 by Gary and Katie Parlett as the Ultimate People Company ‘UPCO’ and became Answer in 2009.
