Lady-owned F&B consultancy to reward feminine Emirati restaurant entrepreneur
Restaurant Secrets Inc. (RSI), based in the United Arab Emirates, is providing up to AED 500,000 (US $ 136,000) worth of restaurant consulting services to an aspiring Emirati woman to open her own restaurant in the United Arab Emirates.
On the occasion of the Emirati Woman’s Day, the female-owned restaurant consultancy announced that it will offer their support and services throughout the process, from conception and feasibility studies, to recruitment, pre-opening support, to the opening of the restaurant.
“We are looking for visionary and courageous women with the dream of bringing their creativity and passion to building a sustainable and successful restaurant business,” said Gabrielle F. Mather, CEO and founder of RSI.

As a women-run organization, RSI is dedicated to helping women entrepreneurs and has a client list that is more than 40 percent women.
A large percentage of these are Emirati women who started restaurants like Mitts & Trays, Montauk Boutique Café, Jolie Café, Utopia Bakery, That Café, and Duchess Café.
“Our goal is to showcase the talents of our national women by helping them build sustainability, leadership and commercial value for their entrepreneurship,” added Mather.

Applications for female UAE nationals are open from August 28th to September 27th. Applicants must be able to come up with a simple business plan that explains why they want to open a restaurant, explain their USP, and express their vision.
They must also be able to demonstrate their entrepreneurship in a hospitality or other field, or have a business degree or experience in running a small business.
