Kia Motors proclaims the launch of ‘Dwell Stream Showroom’ platform

Kia Motors announces the launch of the Live Stream Showroom platform

The platform allows customers to easily discover the design and features of Kia vehicles from home

Kia Motors The company has announced the launch of Live Stream Showroom, a new online platform that provides customers with access to personalized virtual ads in select Kia retailers. The new platform was originally launched in Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan and will be expanded in the Middle East and Africa in countries such as Kuwait, Bahrain and South Africa with the aim of global implementation in the future.

The Live Stream Showroom offers customers a live video session with Kia retailers for a digital experience tailored to their individual needs. Customers receive personal advice with live answers to questions, can explore the design and functions of the model they have selected and, if necessary, see demonstrations of new technologies and functions.

The new platform prioritizes customer convenience and ensures a seamless digital experience that corresponds to a physical showroom visit. This commitment to customer value-oriented innovations comes about when the company defines its leadership position in the future automotive industry as part of its “Plan S” strategy.

"The Live Stream Showroom shows our ongoing commitment to tailor the car buying journey to our customers' needs with virtual tours," said Artur Martins, senior vice president and head of Global Customer Experience at Kia. "With the introduction of this new platform, we always want to be one step ahead in this transition period in digital sales and marketing."

Recent consumer demand clearly shows that customers expect more from online travel to buying a car. Current data from Kia shows that 83 percent of consumers prefer to search for products online before buying, while 47 percent of consumers have expressed interest in using online platforms for future purchases.
