JComms secures awards and accreditations because it marks 45 years in enterprise

The company won five awards at the CIPR PRIde Awards this month – four gold and one silver.

It also recently secured the Investors in People (IIP) accreditation and was accredited by the Good Business Charter (GBC), which promotes and recognizes responsible business practices in areas such as the environment, employees, customers and suppliers.

This is because JComms has been in business for nearly half a century in 2021 and was founded in 1976.

The company provides services such as consumer and corporate PR, digital content, video production, and event management.

In 2020, JComms was recognized as a UK Outstanding Small Consultancy by the CIPR (Chartered Institute of Public Relations). In 2019, the company was recognized as Outstanding NI Consultancy at the CIPR PRIde Awards.

The gold awards JComms won at the CIPR PRide Awards 2021 are for best use of content, best Covid response, best education campaign, and the arts, sports, culture or entertainment campaign. The Silver Prize was awarded for the regional campaign of the year.

Paul Devoy, IIP’s Chief Executive Officer, commented on JComms’s acquisition of Investors in People accreditation for the third time: “We would like to congratulate JComms.

“Accreditation with We Invest in People is a remarkable achievement for any organization and brings JComms into a good society with a variety of organizations that understand the value of people.”

The CIPR PRIde Awards jury said: “This campaign was a real jury favorite.

“Not only was the creative implementation absolutely brilliant and the all-round plan for increasing social reach and media coverage solid, but the jury was particularly impressed by the amount of knowledge used – both to identify the target group and to select the influencers to make sure that both the news and content landed as intended. A great campaign and a well-deserved gold award winner. “
