IT consulting Soltech expands to Florida

Soltech, an Atlanta-based IT recruiting and consulting firm, has expanded into Florida with the opening of a new office in Key Largo. The office is the company’s second physical location.

Soltech decided to expand into the Sunshine State due to rapid customer growth and increasing demand for technology talent and services. Florida is expected to create 16,000 new tech jobs this year, according to a CompTIA report.

The company plans to initially focus on expanding its human resources in the area to support its current customers with offices in Florida. The company also plans to expand its customer base by offering software development and IT personnel solutions to new Florida customers.

Most new hires will be remote workers, according to Soltech.

“The decision to expand our presence in Florida is an exciting development in our company’s history,” said Tim Smith, President and CEO of Soltech. “The demand for custom software development solutions and human resource support is stronger than ever and we are excited to bring our unique offering to Florida.”

Soltech was founded in 1998 and, according to LinkedIn, has around 90 employees. The company’s IT recruitment division provides contract employment, contract-to-hire and direct-hire IT services. Soltech’s consulting department supports customers with software design, web and mobile development, Salesforce implementation, user experience design as well as support and project rescue services.

The company primarily serves organizations in the Atlanta area and has completed more than 1,200 projects, placed more than 1,500 consultants and worked with over 500 companies. Soltech’s customers include LG Electronics, Nexus and Fora Financial.

“Staffing is a challenge for businesses everywhere now and we have a variety of solutions to meet those needs,” added Smith. “We are excited to be part of the Florida business community and help it grow and thrive.”
