The law firm Hugh James advised on the takeover of the transport consulting business Flash Forward Consulting by the transport analytics group Tracsis.

Tracsis is a provider of software, hardware, data analysis / GIS and services for the rail, traffic data and other transport industries, headquartered in Leeds. The London-based company Flash Forward Consulting was founded in 2012 and was primarily active in the rail and bus sector.

As part of the acquisition, a new business unit called Tracsis Transport Consultancy will be created, which will include the existing Rail Consulting and Passenger Analytics business units of Tracsis with Flash Forward Consulting. The new Tracsis branding now applies to all units.

Hugh James’ corporate and commercial team lawyers, led by partner Greg Williams, assisted Alex Warner, owner of Flash Forward Consulting, on the multimillion-pound deal and advised on the sale of Flash Forward Consulting and its continued participation in the expanded Tracsis Transport business area advice.
