Bridgnorth-based management consultancy Good2Great has signed the 100th startup since it launched its step-up program in November 2020.

Telford-based Kelly Page and business partner Katie Evans founded Twin Oaks HR and are the 100th new company to benefit from the initiative to help existing businesses grow and new startups.

“It is a fantastic milestone to help 100 companies in five months has been challenging and rewarding. We look forward to seeing them all thrive in the months and years to come, ”said Sally Themans of Good2Great.

The Step Up Business program is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund and administered by Telford & Wrekin Council on behalf of partner Shropshire Council.

It is provided by Good2Great and provides free help and support for anyone starting or running a business.

“Due to the pandemic, our weekly meetings are practically held on Zoom. The meetings are presented by business consultants who have all started and run their own businesses. So, you have real empathy and can help people avoid common mistakes. The program also provides opportunities for networking and exchanging ideas using breakout rooms. “

Katie Evans and Kelly Page from Twin Oaks HR, who provide full recruitment services to small and medium-sized businesses, found the course very helpful.

“We are using the literature provided to make our marketing more effective and we are excited to be part of the support network that you get with Good2Great,” said Katie.

Kelly said she would definitely recommend the course as they made great connections and the Good2Great team were really supportive and welcoming.

The program includes eight master classes as well as individual coaching, structured support, and additional help where and whenever needed.

Sally Themans concluded, “If you have a burning desire to take control of your life and career, this is a great place to start. We find it gives people the trust and encouragement they need to be successful in business. “
