Irene Deng joins the Foreo Global Travel Retail team as PR & Marketing Manager

Foreo Global Travel Retail has appointed Irene Deng as PR and Marketing Manager.

Deng joins Foreo from the Swiss watch manufacturer Girard-Perregaux, where she was Marketing Manager based in Shanghai and headed digital and retail marketing for 19 POS across the country.

Deng also worked as Marketing and Digital Marketing Manager at the Mercedes-Benz Arena Shanghai and initiated the center’s first video content program, which generated over a million views.

Gary Leong, director of Foreo Global Travel Retail, said Deng’s appointment came at the right time as the Swedish beauty tech and wellness brand seeks to expand in China.

Foreo continues to make rapid strides in the major Chinese market.

As reported, the brand unveiled its newest brand zone in CNSC’s recently opened duty-free store in Chongqing last month. In February, Foreo expanded its presence in Hainan to include the new Haikou Mission Hills complex, a collaboration between Shenzhen Duty Free and DFS that will gradually be completed over the next two years.

The new brand zones underscore Foreo’s efforts to build up its China network. In a recent interview with Martin Moodie, Leong said that Foreo will be opening 13 new offline counters this year, while its FAQ line will add 16 new locations.

Foreo Global Travel Retail has sold 5.8 million products in the past five years, largely thanks to the brand’s popularity in China.
