Enterprise folks on the transfer

In the course of the recruitment process, the experienced editor and leading business and financial journalist Ken Symon will join the agency as Associate Director.

Ken is moving to the role of Editor at Scottish Business Insider and insider.co.uk. Previous roles have included associate editor for the Sunday Times Scotland and business editor for The Scotsman.

He will lead the agency’s business-to-business division and will also work on business development with the executive team that recently expanded to include creative director and former broadcaster Heather Suttie. Katie Palmer was recently promoted to the executive board as an associate director.

Euan Murray

Shepherd and Wedderburn has named Euan Murray as a partner on their construction and infrastructure team.

He brings 16 years of experience advising on the procurement, construction and operation of energy and infrastructure projects across the UK.

Euan, who was previously a director at Shepherd and Wedderburn, rejoined the company on June 14th. Double qualified in Scotland and England and Wales, has advised a wide range of public and private sector clients on major construction and infrastructure projects in the UK.

Gary Robertson

Gary Robertson joined Eco Group in the newly created role of Group Opportunity Strategist.

Gary joins Eco based in Annan, Dumfries and Galloway from the Scottish Council for Development and Industry (SCDI), where he was a manager for the south of Scotland. He will use his experience working with the public and private sectors to build relationships and explore partnership and funding opportunities, as well as assisting Eco MD Eddie Black and the rest of the senior management team.
