Business Aspect expands team with three new principal consultants

Queensland-based management and technology consultancy Business Aspect has added three highly experienced consultants to its team in the past few weeks.

Andrew Ferguson

Ferguson has been named a Principal Consultant and is an accomplished program and project manager with 25 years of experience executing ICT projects for a wide variety of clients including government, finance, logistics and transportation, mining and resources.

He has experience in all areas of the project lifecycle, from business case development and initiation to design, procurement and contract management, delivery, go-live and closure. In addition to leading some of Business Aspect’s most complex client projects, he is also the director of the company’s program and project delivery practice.

Brett Ogilvie

Ogilvie has been named a Principal Consultant and is based in the Business Aspect office in Brisbane. He brings almost two decades of IT security and cyber experience to the company.

He specializes in industrial control systems security and operational technology, which is a growing area for the company, said Brendon Taylor, managing partner, cybersecurity, Business Aspect. “Especially with our growing customer base in the mining and energy sectors and with the ever stricter regulatory environment surrounding critical infrastructures and information security in general.”

Mark Mancq

Appointed as a Principal Consultant in the Digital & ICT Advisory Team, Sydney-based Mancq is focused on helping clients in the healthcare, energy, government and utility sectors execute their digital transformation agenda. He has extensive experience in the development of IT programs, roadmaps and business cases, project management and change management.

During his more than 25-year career, he has worked as CIO, IT Line Manager, Program Manager, Global Services Manager and Consulting Manager at large IT service providers (NTT, DXC Technology, CSC), technology companies (HP) and management consultancies (PwC -Advisory).

Business Aspect was founded in 2005 and is a consulting company specializing in the implementation of digital transformation projects. The company – a subsidiary of Data # 3 – has a team of over 60 consultants based out of offices in Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne and Perth.
