Dice, a Nottingham-based multidisciplinary engineering firm operating across the UK, is in a period of strategic growth and has added a trio of newbies to its civil engineering team.

Charlie Smith, Jack Simmons and Nezih Yasdiman have all joined the company, with existing team member Niall Murray, who joined Dice last year, being promoted to lead REVIT technician.

Nezih will serve as the company’s structural design team leader, with Charlie and Jack appointed as lead structural engineers and lead REVIT technicians, respectively.

A seasoned Associate Civil Engineer with decades of experience in the industry, first as an engineer in Turkey and then in the consulting sector after moving to the UK, Nezih has acquired a wide range of knowledge and expertise.

Charlie has over five years of engineering consulting experience and has been heavily involved in a number of residential and commercial projects. Jack started his career as an engineer before specializing in REVIT in 2015 and as a BIM manager on the Würfel team.

Wayne Oakes, Director at Dice, said, “We are excited to welcome three more new team members and to announce a well-deserved promotion for Niall.

“At this point last year we had few people working on the structural side of the business and these attitudes are an indicator of the company’s rapid growth during that time.”

Wayne added, “We have had a flying start to the year despite all of the challenges COVID-19 presents. This is 100% down to our brilliant team and our practical, customer-centric approach.

“We have the skills, resources and experience of a large company, but the responsiveness and agility of an SME, and that approach has served us well during the pandemic.”
