The Dutch management and digital consulting company IG&H has expanded to Germany, the company’s third location in Europe.

Founded over two decades ago in the Netherlands, IG&H is a 300-strong, award-winning consultancy specializing in three main sectors – financial services, retail and healthcare. The company supports its clients with a range of business transformation services, from strategy to execution, as well as digital transformation and technology delivery.

After the Utrecht-based group expanded to Portugal in 2019 after taking over a local Portuguese player, it has now also made a foray into Germany, the largest European consulting market on the mainland. The Munich office is unique in Germany, but the market is far from being a green field for the consulting company, explained founder and managing partner Jan van Hasenbroek.

“We have been looking after customers in Germany for many years,” he said, “supporting customers such as DPD, Pon and ANWR.” By establishing a local base, “we will be better positioned to serve our customers and our reach in the German market to expand. “

The consulting veteran added that entering Europe’s largest economy is “an important step for IG&H” [that is] Key to our growth strategy. “

The German team will initially concentrate on consulting services for digital transformation, with a focus on popular offers such as data analytics, low-code development and agile working methods. The hub will also focus on OutSystems ‘implementation work – IG&H was one of OutSystems’ partner of the year in 2020 and is working with the software provider to capitalize on growing local demand.

The move takes place about a year after the French strategy consultancy Emerton selected Munich as the location for the German-speaking market and shortly after another Dutch consultancy, Anderson MacGyver, entered the German landscape.

IGH &’s new Munich office will open its doors in September and recruitment is ongoing to strengthen the company.
