Multitask Personnel, a specialist recruitment agency based in South Yorkshire, added 20 new clients to its commercial and labor department in September 2021.

The customer wins are part of a key internal initiative to develop new businesses in the construction, M&E, building services and equipment sectors to meet the growing need for a skilled workforce as companies open their doors to new hires across the UK.

Under the direction of Clive Bateman, Managing Consultant of the Trades & Labor division, the team at Multitask Personnel supports tradespeople in finding suitable temporary, contract and permanent positions to ensure that customers get their vacancies quickly and efficiently can fill the right people.

Bateman said: “We are very excited to bring so many new customers on board. It’s a fantastic achievement for our hard working Trades & Labor team, but it’s also a great sign that recruiting across the country in these specialized sectors is as active as ever.

“We have taken on a range of jobs for our clients, from ground workers, drainers, and ceiling fixers, to cabinet makers, electricians, manual workers, and painters, to support companies that are actively recruiting in the shop fitting, interior design, community service, and construction sectors.

“As a nationwide personnel consultancy, we place candidates in positions from the north-west to the south-east and everywhere in between, so it’s nice to see that recruitment is on the rise at both national and regional level.

“Recruiting can be a daunting task for hiring managers, especially when they have numerous roles to fill. Therefore, it is our job as specialist recruiters to make the process as simple as possible by hiring the right people for an interview who match the task. “
