Commercial consultancy signs US contract

The international trading consultancy OCO Global has signed a new contract with the US state of Colorado to boost state exports to the European markets of France and Great Britain.

The Belfast-based company has been selected as a partner by the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT). The agreement focuses on growing exports in sectors such as aerospace, biomedical products and advanced industries.

OCO Global already has contracts with the states of New York, Delaware, Virginia and South Carolina.

Gareth Hagan, Commercial Director at OCO Global, said, “Colorado is a major commercial hub in the US and the new deal marks another major milestone in our US expansion plans.

“We now offer services to just under a third of all US states, many of which have economies as large as individual EU states.”

“The UK and France are already leading destinations for Colorado exports and we see potential for further growth as market access increases in the years to come.”
