The University of Derby offers free advice to businesses in Chesterfield and North Derbyshire as part of their commitment to the prosperity of the area.

The advisory service gives companies the opportunity to work with the university’s research and technical team to provide innovative new solutions for their organization.

The project can relate to any business area and the support is tailored to the individual needs of each organization. This could include a different perspective a new idea for your business or when your company is facing a business problem that you need assistance with.

Some of the areas for which the university has already developed solutions are:

  • Business processes and efficiency
  • New product development
  • Recognize future opportunities
  • Marketing and market knowledge.

The University of Derby offers a wealth of subject matter expertise in a range of industries, from science and technology to the arts to professional business services. By participating in the program, companies will receive up to 40 hours of advice and £ 500 for any necessary supplies
