Brussels Airport (BRU) in Belgium has set up a new consulting subsidiary, Airport Intelligence, to share its operational and commercial know-how with other companies around the world.

Brussels Airport has been working for many years to offer its passengers high quality services as well as efficient operations for airlines and logistics partners.

With this know-how, Airport Intelligence will provide expert services that will help companies and airports to improve their operating processes, business performance, customer experience and security.

Arnaud Feist, CEO of Brussels Airport, said: “With Airport Intelligence we are launching a specialized consulting company that shares the knowledge and expertise of a leading airport.

“Airport Intelligence helps companies to maximize their operational efficiency and safety and to improve customer service using methods and tools that Brussels Airport has developed over many years of practical experience.”

The airport wants to serve the increasing demand for knowledge exchange with its new subsidiary.

Airport Intelligence, officially launched a few weeks ago, will offer best practices and tools to help its customers improve their commercial performance.

The new subsidiary will also take over the services previously provided by Brussels Airport Consulting.

Jo De Lange, General Manager of Airport Intelligence, said: “At a time when the aviation industry is experiencing its worst crisis in history, optimizing business operations has never been more important.

“Not only do the upcoming European regulations require excellent planning and organization from the airports, but also the uncertainty regarding the number of passengers will make the preparation and provision of adequate operating resources even more difficult.

“With the new services from Airport Intelligence, airports can ensure that they are prepared for regulatory requirements and at the same time optimize their operations when every euro counts.”
