B-Compliant expands consultancy group | Enterprise Up North

M.Anchester-based company B-Compliant is strengthening its team of financial specialists by appointing two compliance advisors with more than 50 years of experience.
The duo’s additional capacity will help the financial compliance professionals meet increasing demand for their services from across the UK.
Joanne Smith joins B-Compliant part-time and takes on a variety of roles from developing monitoring programs for clients to filing reviews and risk assessments. She joined the financial services sector 30 years ago as a consultant and has been a compliance consultant since 1997.
Gill Thompson-Daly has spent the past 20 years in the Jersey financial sector, most recently as a Compliance Officer. She will help B-Compliant customers keep abreast of developments in the industry by creating technical documents such as policies and procedures as well as regular updates on regulatory changes.
Gill said, “The energy, work ethic and technical knowledge of the team attracted me to B-Compliant. In just a few years, the company has become hugely successful by understanding what customers want. I hope that my skills and experience will add value to the company and support its future growth. “
